The NYC Cask Crew exists to support the handful of folks in New York City that are making or and/or serving cask beer, and to promote their efforts. By doing this, it also helps those living in or visiting NYC that are in search of cask beer.
This page has info about where you might be able to find cask beer in NYC and events will be shared when they pop up from time to time. While this largely means Caskiversary at Strong Rope and Caskalot at Fifth Hammer, I am hoping to arrange a couple informal cask crawls in the near future. Jones Wood Foundry Cask Festival: Saturday, September 13th at Jones Wood Foundry, 401 East 76th Street, New York, NY. Participating breweries include: Old Glenham, Strong Rope, Marlowe, Wild East and Eckhart. $20 gets you 5 5oz pours. JWF opens at 11 if you want some brunch before the fest, which begins at noon. Join us!!!
Past Cask Crawls
Our Fall 2024 crawl made it to the Drop Off Service, Cask Bar & Kitchen, The Shakespeare, and the Jones Wood Foundry. Spring 2025 brought us to Strong Rope, Finback, Threes and Wild East in Gowanus. There are a few pics of each crawl below.
